She was tired from the past two days in the woods and sleeping on the ground without a bedroll. Chouji's shoulder was definitely more comfortable than the tree trunk she'd used the night before as a pillow. The feeling of his power was soothing and she drifted into a deep sleep.

Chouji nodded in satisfaction as Hinata gave in and took the rest that she obviously needed.

His own exhaustion took him by surprise, though, as Nala’s power eased the tension in Hinata’s body. Chouji fought it; someone needed to remain awake and on guard, after all, and they already established that Hinata was the one more in need of sleep. He could only keep his eyes open so long, though, and he didn’t have any soldier pills with him. After a couple minutes’ struggle, his eyes fell shut and his head drooped to the side, coming to rest on Hinata’s.
